Pennington County taxpayers can now pay their property taxes on line.  It is an 
efficient way to pay your taxes without standing in line at the courthouse or 
mailing.  Just go to www.co.pennington.sd.us and click on the link at the left of the 
page, pay property tax on-line.  The procedure is simple and you can pay multiple 
pieces of property.  The program will give you the fees associated with the 
payment before you finalize any payment.  Please note that the fees are different 
for the use of a credit card or debit card which is a percentage of the total 
transaction.  The use of an e-check is $1.95 per transaction; a transaction can be 
multiple pieces of property.  The cut off will remain the same and you must have 
your taxes paid by 12:00 midnight on April 30th and 12:00 midnight on October 31st.  
The system will automatically shut down between 12:00 and 1:00 a.m. MDT/MST 
please do not wait until the last minute to pay in the event that the system goes 
down or you are one minute late.  There will be no interest or penalties forgiven 
should this occur.
