The Pennington County Board of Commissioners and the Central States Fair Board announce the 
upcoming dedication ceremony of the James Kjerstad Event Center, formally the Pennington 
County Event Center.

The dedication ceremony will be held Friday March 19th starting promptly at 5:30pm in the 
Event Center, 915 E. Centre St. Rapid City, SD 57701.

A barbeque following the dedication will be provided by the Central States Fair Board. 

Please join us as we honor Commissioner James Kjerstad for his hard work and dedication to the 
citizens of Pennington County. The public is invited to attend.
