      The Pennington County Board of Commissioners is now accepting applications to 
fill Weed & Pest Board vacancies representing areas 1 and 2.  Any qualified elector 
residing within Area 1 (Pennington County line boarding Wyoming to Highway 79) and 
Area 2 (Highway 79 to Cheyenne River) are eligible for three-year appointment.  Board 
members are reimbursed for mileage and are paid $25.00 per day per diem for attendance 
at official meetings and functions.  For additional information contact Scott Guffey,

	A letter of interest should be forwarded to the Pennington County Board of 
Commissioners at 315 St. Joseph, Rapid City, SD 57701.  The letter of interest should 
include your agency or community affiliation (if applicable), your particular interests as 
related to a board of this kind, and what you can contribute to such a board.  The deadline 
for this letter is Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 8:00 a.m.
