The Pennington County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications from individuals who 
are interested in serving as a County Liaison on the Rapid City Library Board.

Service in this position is voluntary and no compensation will be derived.  Board members are 
expected to attend one regularly scheduled meeting per month, as well as any special meetings 
which may be called if needs arise.  Meetings are normally held the 2nd Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. 
at the Rapid City Library.

Persons interested in applying for this position must be a resident of Pennington County and live 
outside the city limits of Rapid City. Those who want to be considered for an appointment are 
asked to submit a written statement describing their background to the Pennington County Board 
of Commissioners, 315 Saint Joseph Street, Suite 156, Rapid City, SD 57701.
