The Pennington County Public Defender’s Office Advisory Board is pleased to announce 
the selection of Paula D. Camp as the new Director of the Pennington County Public 
Defender’s  Office.  Ms. Camp was selected by the panel, which consists of attorneys 
John Murphy and Randal Connelly, county commissioners Ken Davis and Delores 
Coffing, and community representative Mel Prairie Chicken.  Ms Camp replaces Michael 
Stonefield, who is retiring from the position after over twenty years of service at the 
Pennington County Public Defender’s Office.  Ms. Camp is an attorney with over ten 
years of experience working as an assistant public defender in Rapid City.
