All telephone and radio conversations in the dispatch center are recorded on a digital logging recorder. Requests for audio will be processed in accordance with ESCC policy and state law. User agency requests should be accompanied by an audio compact disc. In accordance with South Dakota codified law, s. 1-27-1.5, all other entities or individuals must obtain written authorization of release from the responding agency or a court order requiring the release of the recorded audio. These requests must include the $35.00 fee and an audio compact disc.
